Stepping Stone Mix

Is there sand in the stepping stone mix??  I know it is a cement, but how much sand content is there?

Hello and thanks for the question.

Milestones Premium Step Stone Mix is indeed cement.  However, that can mean a lot of different things.  There are thousands of different recipes for cement which can speed up or slow down th curing time, increase or decrease the strength, hardness, flex, and many other variables.

Our mix is a proprietary formula that is meant specifically for making stepping stones.  It is very strong, resists cracking in the cold, has an extended initial cure time to allow for creating your mosaic masterpiece, and cures nice and smooth on top.

The mix does have some sand content, which is instrumental in helping the mix achieve the qualities described above, but our mix recipe is a well guarded secret.  I can't reveal just how much sand is in our mix.
